![]() ![]() Now by doing so this method will usually result in your Diablo II acquiring a Different Server then the one you were previously banned on, there is a 50/50 chance that you'll acquire the same Server therefore no ban will be lifted. Therefore when you delete these registry key's, basically your telling your Diablo II client to select another server. See, there are approximitely 8 Servers per realm. ![]() Well Im going to assume you know pretty much nothing about the servers, ok? The servers themselves DO infact ban your IP for a set period of time, and this hardly has anything to do with registry. I am also somewhat skeptical that this is on the Blizzard website, as most Blizzard technical support would want to avoid supporting a bypass to their temp bans.Īs for as I am concerned the only way to bypass a tempt ban is, moving bncache.dat out of the Diablo 2 directory and resetting the IP address. Not to mention the registry folder "Blizzard Entertainment" doesn't just contain Diablo 2 registry files, but many others. ![]() I am almost positive this has absolutely nothing to do with IP ban status and infact can cause issues with underlining parts of the game. ![]()
